The book and film are from Bennu's Inner Children’s Stories series, and carry on the tradition of the artist's award-winning short films such as "Larry," "Ka Ku Mei," and "Black Moses Barbie."

The ongoing project uses the storytelling mechanisms of childhood (animation, puppetry, & picture books) to tell grown up stories.
