This video and most importantly the music was out of sight! All I can say is wow! . This video was tagged onto my show Just Coolin on Youtube where we play all the flavors of Jazz . This video is phenomenal!!! If you were to look at Hollywood’s interpretation of dance (e.g. Footloose, Dirty Dancing, Saturday Night Fever), you’d think that folks of color don’t dance (or aren’t good enough to be “the star” of a movie based on dance. Thank you for creating this beautiful piece and setting it to Imani’s powerful voice to showcase the beauty of our bodies and our movement.
