It’s been a long time. I’ve been in the lab working on the new season of NotRadio … and oh yeah. we had a kid.

regular updates will return in february. until then i’ll probably be dropping teasers like this one. stevie wonder meets jay-z with a splash of Gregorian chant.

At this time of year I always think about those who came before us - their lives, their sacrifices, and their triumphs. This is dedicated to them in thanks and praise. So when you dance please keep in mind those who could not and open your heart for those still to come. 50 minutes.
I apologize for the names I miss on this one as some of the records I used this time were white labels - but here, as best as i can, are the players in the ritual in no particular order: Osunlade, Michael Jackson, Jamie Foxx, Eddie Murphy, Aloe Blacc, Malcolm X, Cymande, Femi Kuti, Joan Baez, Terrence Trent Darby, Pharaoh Sanders.
