And the sad thing is: how many of our youth are even aware of these events? If they are, do they really understand the meaning of these actions in the greater issue : freedom and equality globally for the black race? I guess “each one teach one” is becoming not just relevant, but crucial in today’s world.

I have to agree that through history someone is always placing the blame on someone else instead of standing up and beiong responsible for their own actions. I read what you say about hiphop about Opah and I ask myself what responsibibilty do these people have to others? and do they even think that they have a responsiblity to the people of their culture?
Your essay brings rise to an array of questions within our culture.

It is the actions that we do today that will make history tommorrow.
